Dr. Mehta


Dr. Mehta's mission is to help patients achieve highest quality of life. 

Her mantra is: analyze, identify, advise, execute. 

Dr. Mehta is a Board Certified Specialist in PM&R, Brain Injury Medicine. She is also the Founding Director of Outpatient Brain Injury Clinic in Nashville, TN - Brain & Stroke Care, PC and the Non Profit Organization Re-Able which is aimed to improve brain injury awareness and support families dealing with brain injury recovery of a loved one. Dr. Mehta does consulting work to help providers enhance their medical & rehabilitation services. Additionally, she is currently principal Investigator in multiple ongoing research studies.

  • Assistant Professor -  Johns Hopkins University
  • Director of Inpatient Neuro-Rehabilitation at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital.
  • Developed Botulinum Toxin post-injection protocol at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital.
  • Developed ITB implementation protocol at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital.

Clinical & Research Expertise

Dr. Mehta has accumulated extensive clinical and research experience through her years of practice. She is detail oriented and her aim is to deliver results.

Dr. Mehta's research experience encompasses leg Movements after stroke, sleep related issues after stroke, qualitative research with spasticity and motor recovery after brain injury.
